Great Drs and staff. They are professional and courteous. Prices are fair. Get SNAP vouchers if needed for spay or neutering. They help some.
Dr. Day is great! Theyare moving soon to a larger location, still in Georgetown though. The price is reasonable and the staff is friendly and courteous. I once had to take my dog in after hours due to being caught in the leg with a treble hook. Dr day had no problem staying to help me with my pup. She is honest, caring and knows that when people love their pets, they love them like they are their own children. She is considerate of financial issues and tries not to go way over on the expenses. I honestly believe that she is in this field Because she wants to help animals, not just to make a buck.
I recently visited this office, because my cat was showing signs of a UTI. My mother had to take her for me and I met them there. I had given my mom instructions to ONLY let them test for a UTI and then if that was negative we would go from there. The vet continually advised my mom that cats don't get UTI like dogs and humans do so they would need to run blood work and test to see what is wrong with her. My mother asked numerous times if she thought it was a UTI and the vet kept saying no cats don't get UTI like dogs and humans do. So they ran a bunch of blood work, xrays, urinalysis, and came back in and gave me the full breakdown. Guess what my cat ended up having.....A UTI. So now I am out or pocket $374, when the urinalysis only showed to cost $45.00 on the breakdown receipt I was given. I WILL NEVER BE BACK TO THE OFFICE AND ANYONE I HAD REFERED THERE WILL NOT EITHER.
Dr. Day is amazing - would never take my pet anywhere else!
